 Focal Theme: Trends and Challenges in Science Education

The National Teachers’ Science Congress (NTSC) is a round-table conference for the teaching community of the country to communicate their innovative concepts, share their creativity in the methodologies of science education. The NTSC provides a forum to teachers of the country to enhance their level of scientific awareness. The first national event was held in 2003. Supported by RVPSP, it has become a biennial activity of NCSTC Network since 2005. 

The VI National Teachers’ Science Congress is going to be held at Benares Hindu University, Varanasi , U.P, during 8-11 November 2011. About 300 Teachers Educators are expected to participate, Share their studies and research in the focus area of " Trends & challenges in Science Education" and its various subthemes. The last date for submiting research paper is 15th October 2011.

All the science teachers, science educators and communicators in Gujarat State are requested to take a note of the above national conference and to actively partiicapate by submitting research papers and case studies. Besides imparting innovativeness in sharing educative processes, participating teachers are induced to prove their localized knowledge in respective field of science and technology.
